The former chairman of the popular front party and minister of foreign affairs, Ingibjorg Solrun Gisladottir, says that she has a hard time forgiving herself regarding the great collapse and for causing the anger which was around in the community at that time. This is said in an interview which the television show host Solvi Tryggvason took with Ingibjorg and will be aired on Wednesday night. Solvi repeats after her: "I think the anger is a very negative force and is one of the things I blame myself for and is probably what I have the hardest time forgiving myself about regarding the collapse and having participated in calling out all the anger which came out in the community." Ingibjorg quit politics just before the last elections for the parliament but she had been diagnosed with brain cancer. She had to undergo a few surgeries which caused that she was not able to continue in politics. Johanna Sigurdardottir prime minister took over the chairmans seat for the popular front party.
