Protest meeting at Austurvollur  E-mail

There will be a protest meeting at Austurvollur at 5pm today where the demand that Iceland stands outside the war alliance will be held up. The occasion is that today have 60 years passed since the Althing approved Iceland´s membership in the NATO.


The union of military opponents are behind this protest meeting and Armann Jakobsson Icelandic language professor and Maria S. Gunnarsdottir chairman of MFIK hold short speeches.
