 The fourth case of the influenza A (H1N1) has been diagnosed in Iceland. A women of middle age was diagnosed and it seems that she has caught it from the couple that arrived in Iceland from USA on June 3rd who were both diagnosed with the influenza. This was announced in he announcement from the contamination surgeon general and the civil defense department of the national police chief. It also says that this case can be traced to a contagion here in Iceland but the three persons diagnosed before here in Iceland caught the influenza in America and got ill after arriving in Iceland. The representatives of the contamination surgeon general, civil defense department of the national police chief, ministry of health and ministry of justice discussed the position of these matters in a meeting this morning. After WHO has declared a pandemic and so moved up to a stage of emergency has the level been the same here in Iceland. Despite that they had discussed at the meeting to continue to work according to the danger level here in Iceland has the influenza been mild, both abroad and here in Iceland.
