Jon Danielsson professor of economics says that Iceland is the only country in the world that uses economic management mistakes from the forties and is referring to the currency restrictions. He says that the best the administration of the Central bank of Iceland could do when they show up for work on Monday morning is to lift the restrictions which are not working in his oppinion. This is what Jon said in Silfur Egils on RUV.

Jon also said that he is more optimistic than before and said that he has felt geat changes from foreigners towards us during the past weeks and months.

"We are supposed to follow the plan we approved in co-operation with the IMF and try to getthe goals set foward there."
