Around one thousand directors and CEOs are registered as unemployed at the directorate of labor. Around half of the unemployed on the other hand only have finished basic education. At the directorate of labor are close to fifteen thousand persons registered as unemployed or partially employed. The education level has a great meaning in the unemployment, but around 49% of those who are unemployed have only finished basic education and 14 percent have finished collage. In the unemployment registry are also around 1000 persons who were directors and CEOs and around 2000 persons highly educated specialists in various fields. New gathering of Capacent recruitment shows that applicants for the jobs are not giving any slack of their demands and wage requests despite the depression. Because of that has it been difficult to fill the low wage jobs, since there is some sort of a competition between the lowest wages and unemployment benefits. Gunnar Hauged director of Capacent recruitment says that he has been aware of that applicants would rather stay registered as unemployed and collect benefits and wait for a good job, rather than accept low wage jobs.
