The central committee of ASI insists that there are to be made changes of the national budget bill where there will be honored the promise of lightening the tax burdon of those whith the least income and better arrangements for those who are having difficulties paying the debts of the homes with raising child benefits and interests benefits. This is included in the report of the central committee of ASI.
There it says that it is important to have a close co-operation with the labor union about the essential tax system changes. Also the central committee iterates the importance of that there are actions of the co-operation with the pension funds to boost employment and economic growth.
The report is as here says:
"The central committee of ASI declares its worry about the recently set national budget bill. Never before has the nation stood in front of as difficult decisions as are in this bill. It may be clear that it affects everyone, with the cut backs of service of the public services and increased taxes on the public. This difficult position has been known since early this year.
The federation of labor unions (ASI) has so put emphasis on the inevitable burdon of the economic collapse are to be distributed as fair as possible. ASI has put emphasis on protecting the position of the endebted homes, the young families with children and those with less income. In the last wage contracts had the ASI negotiated with the last government about raising the child benefits and the interest benefits in 2008 and 2009 and raising the tax free limits in 2009 till 2011. Then the united labor union worked on while the stability pact was created that the most sensitive fields of welfare, healthcare and the educational system would be spared as far as possible and set limits on tax raises. Also the parties of the stability pact united in putting great effort into boost projects by the government would get the pension funds in a co-operation about large investment projects.
The government has been honoring their promises to protect as far as possible the parts of the social services they negotiated about. Unfortunately does the government not seem to honor the promise of the former governments about lightening the tax burdon of the low income persons. Then the government seems to be doing very little to increase employment by starting large projects in co-operation with the pension funds. If that will not happen is clear that a third cut back of project funds is in every way unacceptable.
The central committee of ASI insists that there are changes made to the national budget bill, where they wil honor the promises of lightening the tax burdon of those with the least income and the difficult payment position of the homes is met by waising the child benefits and the interest benefits. It is important that the close co-operation is held with the labor union about essential tax system changes. Also the central committee iterates the importance of starting immediately projects in co-operation with the pension funds to rebuild employment and boost the economic growth."
