The elections last weekend were pretty .. boring to say the least, the pop. front party had ruined all they could for the other parties and made themselves look like saints. The elections were as most of you know so that half of the former government stayed in. Funny thing is that this political party was a part of the government that failed but still … they were elected in, and the other not. Manipulation is what I say this is .. the media is painted red (the parties color). Completely ..

The pop.f. somehow only read what they wanted out of the election outcome. Now they want to think that the nation was voting about the EU .. this was election for political parties, not the EU. Now everything is evolving around the darn EU .. this is making me so frustrated, they did not want to have a national election about the EU .. and still, now they would like to read this election as just about the EU so they say that now this is a clear will of the people about joining the EU and since they got the powers back, it looks like they are just going for it without giving the nation a chance to vote on it ? I do not mind opening discussions about the matter, I just dont want Iceland to join at this moment.

Bah … How can this be read as a clear will ? No one I know was voting because of the EU matters, all of the political parties had some clause towards the EU, what the heck were we supposed to do then ? I for one am voting because of the overall policy of the party, not just picking out a cause and voting because of that, that is why I was having such problems deciding what to vote, everyone seemed to have something about joining the eu.

Anyways .. need to get to the translations and e-mails

By the way, the unconfirmed cases of the swine flu here since yesterday have been said to be negative, so the swine flu is not here yet thank goodness ..
